DVES also coordinates any continuing education class we may request.  Inventory management technology Currently, DVES also manages our “soft-supply” inventory, the quality improvement process, technology systems including electronic health records.

Lehigh Valley Health Network provides DTVAC with both “online” and “offline” medical control. Online medical control is provided when our providers directly contact a physician at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Pocono (LVH-P) and speak directly with a physician trained to interact with EMS. Offline medical control is provided on a day-to-day basis by our Medical Director, Dr. Jeffrey Kuklinski. Through the medical direction program, Lehigh Valley Hospital – Pocono provides free or reduced-price training for our personnel. In addition, with the ongoing national emergency medication shortage, LVHP provides our paramedics with the emergency medications they need to help treat patients.
